Matt is a hard working single dad that’s trying to be smart, make a decent living, and spend more family time. He intentionally purchased a home with a walk-out basement a few years back after moving closer to his daughters. Matt tried renting his new space long-term but ultimately gave up due to troublesome tenants and lack of control. Matt got excited when he was introduced to AirBnB by a friend. However, the initial excitement of Airbnb soon tempered with the realities of business. How could Matt grow his revenue even further by getting additional dates booked? Those empty nights really impacted his finances.
Lodgable saw a huge opportunity to help Matt fill those empty nights. First, Lodgable identified a few channels that would get more travelers interested in his rental and gave him a free website to generate direct bookings. Next, Lodgable linked Matt’s pre-existing AirBnB account with the Lodgable platform. This allowed him to manage his old listing and new ones from one central location. Lastly, Lodgable evaluated Matt’s listing and made performance suggestions.

Within two months of using Lodgable, Matt noticed a 38% jump in his September bookings, a 20% increase in his October bookings, a 50% spike in his November bookings, continued to see progress in December and into the new year. Channels like Booking.com, Only-Apartments, and Kayak, helped Matt reach respectful guests as far away as Australia. Lodgable also helped him increase his average length of stay by 2 nights, helped him raise his average nightly rate by 10%, and reduced the time he spent managing his rentals on average by 4 hours per week. This in turn allowed Matt to cover his entire mortgage and freed up more time for him to spend with his girls.
